hello, this is 405. my weather app says it's 2 degrees Celsius right now and since it's my turn to post on the bulletin, i'd like to share a helpful tip that i learned.

if you don't have budget for buying new heat pads, you can make your own using your old sweaters. just cut off the sleeves and stitch / glue the end (honestly, use whatever's available; i find fabric glue the best-- if you know anyone from fashion school, you could ask them to lend you some.) fill it with beans or rice (uncooked of course), then secure the other end. make sure it's not going to spill; it would be a hassle to find rice and beans in your bag.

it's up to you if you want to make it pretty on the outside. to heat it, you can pop them in the microwave for a minute or two. check every 30 seconds so it wont overheat. if you're in school, you can use the cafeteria microwave to reheat it and bring it to the library if you want to study. when you're on the go, you can drop by any convenience store and ask to use their microwave.

let's stay warm, everyone.
